It’s easy to mess up a word or phrase, especially in those early morning writing sessions or when bad days creep in. Exhaustion, aggressive spellcheckers, humorous diction apps, and common misuse are familiar villains in word scramble woes. Below is the ever-growing writer’s editing checklist of words or short phrases I’ve found in my own writing, observed online, or even discovered in published books.
